Where are you from and how does that affect who you are today? I grew up on Long Island, in a Revolutionary War town, and I have always loved the history of the town. When I'm training for races, I'll sometimes drive out to my hometown to do long runs as a moment of reflection and appreciation of where I've come from.

What are your secrets to success? Meditation and surrounding myself with positive people. I also try to stay organized with a daily task list and I use a different emoji each day to check off tasks. My dog also keeps me very scheduled as she nudges me when it’s time to go run every day, and on the dot at mealtimes.
