Anthony earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy degree from Columbia University and his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University at Albany. He is a board certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist through the American Physical Therapy Association. He also holds advanced certifications in Hip Preservation and Overhead Athlete rehab through the Hospital for Special Surgery. He has treated a wide variety of orthopedic and running related injuries in his career.
Anthony was involved in martial arts most of his young life and knows first hand what it is like to recover from an injury. His first exposure to PT was following a knee surgery and the interpersonal and empathetic nature of the field always stood out to him. He has brought this first hand experience into his patient care and has allowed him to appreciate the rehab process to help patients resume their passions.
Anthony completed his first half marathon in 2023 and first full marathon in 2024. Using his own experience as a guide, he is passionate about helping runners recover from injuries and achieve their goal through development of individual and comprehensive programs to reduce their injury risk, promote healing, and improve performance.
Anthony was born and raised in Brooklyn and is an avid New York sports fan. In his free time he enjoys trying out new food spots and spending time in Central Park. While undecided on his next race, you can find him running the Central Park loop or running down the west side highway to stay active.
