Personal Story
As a former soccer player, Yannik discovered running at the end of college and quickly fell in love with the sport. Since then, he has completed numerous half marathons and full marathons, including his favorite race to date: the 2022 NYC Marathon. The discipline, community, and personal growth he found through running continue to shape both his personal and professional life.
With a background as an actor and creative, Yannik was drawn to marketing through his passion for storytelling. He believes that the same qualities that make great art—authenticity, connection, and empathy—are also at the heart of effective and ethical marketing. In 2024, while searching for a new challenge, he discovered the close-knit and highly intentional culture at Custom Performance and immediately felt at home.
Although Yannik has never personally needed physical therapy, working alongside the clinicians at Custom has given him a firsthand look at the profound impact physical therapy can have on people’s lives. Seeing clients overcome setbacks, return to the activities they love, and achieve goals they once thought were out of reach has been both eye-opening and inspiring. What he appreciates most about Custom is the genuine care each clinician brings to every interaction. As a marketer, Yannik loves being able to tell those stories and champion a community he truly believes in, celebrating the runners, athletes, and active individuals who make Custom such a special place.
