STEPHEN ALAN WILSON

Describe yourself in one sentence.

A kind, passionate person with a big heart, who loves traveling the world and hearing the stories of all the people I meet along the way.

Where are three things you are proud of:

  • My decision six years ago to make a positive lifestyle change, which led me to discover the joy of running and lose sixty pounds in the process.

  • Running my first marathon in 2015. Before that year the idea of running a marathon never seemed within the realm of possibility, but when I crossed that finish line in Central Park something inside of me changed and I knew at that moment it was going to be the first of many.

  • Moving to NYC in 1999. I had no idea where the journey would take me and there are many days I have no idea where it’s heading, but I wouldn’t trade a minute of it.

How has your life so far shaped who you are today?

My willingness to learn from every person I’ve met, every experience I’ve had – the good and the not so good – is what fuels the person I am today.

Crunchy or Smooth (PB)?

Normally I would say either – PB feeds my soul! – though 2020 has definitely been a crunchy kind of year.
