STEPHEN ALAN WILSON
Describe yourself in one sentence.
A kind, passionate person with a big heart, who loves traveling the world and hearing the stories of all the people I meet along the way.
Where are three things you are proud of:
My decision six years ago to make a positive lifestyle change, which led me to discover the joy of running and lose sixty pounds in the process.
Running my first marathon in 2015. Before that year the idea of running a marathon never seemed within the realm of possibility, but when I crossed that finish line in Central Park something inside of me changed and I knew at that moment it was going to be the first of many.
Moving to NYC in 1999. I had no idea where the journey would take me and there are many days I have no idea where it’s heading, but I wouldn’t trade a minute of it.
How has your life so far shaped who you are today?
My willingness to learn from every person I’ve met, every experience I’ve had – the good and the not so good – is what fuels the person I am today.
Life’s a journey, not a destination so find the joy – it’ll take you further.
Crunchy or Smooth (PB)?
Normally I would say either – PB feeds my soul! – though 2020 has definitely been a crunchy kind of year.
