What’s something we might not know about you? I always had three ambitions: 1) Win an Olympic gold medal; 2) Sing
in a rock and roll band; 3) Meet Elvis Presley. I achieved one.
What has been your biggest challenge in life? I have had a few big challenges in my life (COVID is certainly one of them) but they all have a common theme: learn to accept plan B, it might turn out better than you think.
Describe yourself in one sentence. Life isn’t a dress rehearsal. Every day I remind myself of that, and always look to see how I can help give back and share this mantra with others.
Describe yourself in one sentence. I am a historian of 17th century Dutch and Italian art, a running coach, and a podcaster who has an optimistic outlook and an insatiable thirst for growth, on and off the track.
How has your life so far shaped who you are today? My willingness to learn from every person I’ve met, every experience I’ve had – the good and the not so good – is what fuels the person I am today.
Where are you from and what does that mean to you? Atlanta, GA. Do I need to say more? I am so proud of this city and what it stands for. Also, I love running in the heat and humidity of the summer. Honestly!
Where are you from and what does that mean to you? I grew up moving all around the country. I was born in Georgia, moved to Colorado when I was 3, Michigan when I was 6, North Carolina when I was 14, and New York when I was 18. I mostly identify with the South as my home. It means family, comfort, cozy mountains, buttery food, and great accents.
